INCASE PROGRAM APPROVAL PROCESS
Mission Statement
In organizing a program approval process for higher education addictions curricula, INCASE hopes to further the goals of:
1) quality assurance and promulgation of program standards
2) promoting the development of articulation networks, transferability and portability of degrees.
3) providing a resource for the creation, expansion, and upgrading of addictions curricula
4) Insuring that the classroom is a bridge from science to practice in the preparation of the addictions workforce
5) self-governance within the addictions higher education field
6) helping addictions curricula advocate for their existence and needs within their institutional environment
7) aiding students in moving up their educational and career ladders by providing legitimacy to the curricula and academic programs that they have completed.
8) aiding in the linkage of curricula to current workforce issues and trends, that will enhance the employability and career mobility of students , and serve the changing needs of the addictions field
